So, rapper, Skrilla uses “six seven” in the song, Doot Doot. From here, “six seven” begins its journey through derivative slang. Apparently meaning “this or that” or “so so,” the use of the expression has morphed into a verbal non-answer to confuse and frustrate others. I wonder if Gen Alpha has any idea that this pattern of changing use and meaning of words and phrases is older than America herself.
