Met him in Atlanta airport. He was reading a newspaper. I asked him for an autograph and he replied he was too busy. That's it. I was 11 years old.

Pete was a shi-ty human being. Great player. Horrible person.

Im OK with how they kept him out while he was alive. If you were going to be consistent with steroid era players, Id be fine with keeping Pete out still. But when you make an exception to let a borderline HOF player in (Ortiz) with a positive roid test just because he gave Peter Gammons and the rest of the NE media stiffys, then you lose the morals argument with Rose...

I don’t think Ortiz should be in because I don’t think DH’s should be in.

Bonds not being in is a complete joke.

Im OK with DHs being in. But if you look at anything past the counting stat and its a borderline case at best. Thats even with a postseason bump.

We arent even getting into the roid test and why druglords are putting hits on him...

I have a damning story about Rose and his buddy Johnny Bench that corroborates this story but already told it in here a couple of times but will tell it agin if anybody gives a rats ass about it.
