Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

It’s ~900’ ASL, and in these latitudes, that means four seasons, with short, mild winters and long, hot, muggy summers.

Thanks buddy
Well, I know erebody likes to pile on Rusty, but this is something that people don’t always think about, until it’s too late.

Anyway, my first set of in-laws retired from NJ to Pinehurst; same general setting. Mild and nice for three seasons; bet’ have good A/C in the summer.

@WestTennesseeFox if y’all are considering relocating, I’d say this climate/weather (for now) is like Memphis dialed back maybe 15-20%: hot, humid summers, but you don’t feel like you might actually dissolve and die on the sidewalk. (Note: I lived in Houston for several years, and I will never ever again sign up for dat chit.)

In non-weather department, Mooresville is pretty classic small-town South. Big-time NASCAR, etc., which is great, but maybe might be a bit much of a muchness, if that’s not your thing/vibe.

Paging @volwindy on her vacay for thoughts about Mooresville.
