Now I know why spouse spent almost $200 for "snacks" (her words) there back in September

@VolNExile, you’ll appreciate this (maybe). Ex hubby and his dingbat sidekick came to visit my son and family today until the 22nd. Dingbat kept calling my daughter in law my granddaughter’s name and vice versa. My granddaughter was already nervous about them being there and this didn’t go over well. My daughter-in-law blew up a picture of me and Liam and put it up where it is up front and center. 😂😂😂. I told her “have I told you how much I love you lately?”.

I’m so glad that she has you and Liam! The two of you and son and D-I-L are the real family.

Absolutely! Tell you the truth, I find no joy in that completely. Oh, I might get my digs in every once in a while (I’ve earned that dubious honor), but I really want Ex hubby and dingbat to build a relationship with my son and family. It can only help them. Believe it or not, I never nor have I ever talked bad about William’s dad in front of him (guilty out of earshot). My daughter-in-law sent me a picture of Ex hubby holding Liam and I felt sorry for him.

Yeah, I did the same, but the kids keep him at arm’s-length anyway. It’s really sad at baby time, plus he keeps calling me for updates, which isn’t much fun. 🙁
