I’m still not sure about him yet, that’s why I asked Behr about him. That one has me perplexed. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have enough care in me one way or another, but I don’t want to say anything wrong for him to take it the wrong way. I don’t think he’s learned the Zone way. Maybe Soucie can start a new class for our recent members. Though, I don’t remember any of them passing the test. Quality control has become lacking lately.

He may be a very sensitive person or be in a very delicate state, so you really never know how much someone may be struggling....

That alone makes her a Jen’s definition of a saint 😁. She’s like Tiffany to me. Tiffany puts up joe, Mrs mojo puts up with you. Both have that burden on top of their medical issues and raising a family. Saint. (Thank G_d, both have the husbands they have to support them).

no, I meant that and not because of the free flowIng booze earlier. I never drink much at all at Christmas parties and especially office parties. I’ve learned the hard way it can come back to bite you.

I get delicate state and struggling. Randomly distributed among my family (like pretty much everyone else’s family) are anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, Asperger’s (now Autism Spectrum Disorder), and random substance abuse. But NOBODY in my family is allowed to be abusive (talk ugly, etc.) to others, or to play drama queen. There are many good reasons why not, but at a minimum, for the troubled person, indulging this behavior gets in the way of their recovery and eventual happy independence. It’s game playing and being dishonest with oneself.

When someone comes here suffering, I think you’ll find that we’re willing to help, in our own goofball ways. But not if we see that we’re being manipulated. To quote the gif, “Ain’t nobody got time for that.”

(And there have been many, many suggestions posted here for sources of professional help. At some point, when we’re fighting demons, we all have to hit what is bottom for us, and go get real help.)

I haven't really kept up on everything in the forum, I do have a brother in law that reminds me a lot of Forrest Gump because he is very much like him, he is loyal to the end and mature in a lot of ways
but then some ways not so mature but we always loved him just the way he is and accepted his limitations, so he actually taught me to appreciate the little things.

I think I told you. I wasn’t here when you started posting, so I want to ask you questions to get know you, if you don’t mind. You don’t seem to mind to ask questions, and there’s nothing wrong with that. People just getting to know each other, that’s the way I see it anyway.
