When I went to Kroger today, as I was checking out in the self checkout, of course the clerk had to come over to check my ID for the alcohol. As I flip open my wallet, I look, she is stand a good 4 feet away squinting, I just told her my birthdate. 🤣

That is the stupidest law on the face of the earth. If you actually read the law (and I personally know the woman that rammed that stupid law through), if you look over 40 you don't HAVE to ask to show an ID AND, it really is only for where alcohol is sold to take off premise. You still can't sell to minors but if you are a sit down and serve only establishment, you do not HAVE to check ID. Don't try to argue it with servers or anyone for that matter because the ABC board has them scared to death of going to jail.
