How much it rains here was odd to me after 15 years in NorCal, where you see zero rain for 5-6 straight months.

We actually haven’t had much rain lately. But streets in my hood flood during high tide. Water coming up the storm drains.

Its cool once, but its just not the same. Christmas on the beach my first year here was the greatest thing ever. It doesn't seem like Christmas anymore. That's sad. Cool Halloween nights back in Tennessee is what Halloween is to me. Not shorts, flip flops and sweating.

Grass is greener and all that.

I've been there once. Help a friend mover her daughter up there before school. It was cool. It seemed more like Tennessee than Florida. There were actually some hills and trees, real trees that didn't look like upside down mops.
