When my mother first tried a riding shopping cart ("buggy"!) this past winter, she kept flipping it into reverse and couldn't steer. There she was, cart beeping madly, backing up the aisles of the Mendenhall Kroger at grossly illegal speeds, scattering shoppers right and left. It was great.

I just sort of pretended that I didn't know her...
