Lemon Fanta is big in Spain. Often it is mixed with red wine on the rocks, a tinto de Verano.

I make these at home with Tempranillo wine, lemonade, and sparkling water with a hint of lemon. Refreshing!

went to visit a 95-yo relative in rehab/nursing care today. she's trying to make it back to her assisted living room in the same facility but I'm not sure it will happen. I'm not even sure that I'll see her again in this lifetime. glad I went cause I think it made her feel good but it sure didn't make me feel very good.
