I did it once. Biggest adrenaline rush of my life. It was a tandem jump, had an instructor strapped to me, so not solo jumps like Rusty does, but still, it was pretty amazing.Lulz.
I wanted to do that at one time just never was important to me. But I'm pretty sure I couldn't now. I've developed a fear of heights in my old age. I give him crap about it and probably will continue, but I get it.

lol, I remember looking out of the plane and thinking, "I can't do this!" The instructor asked me if I was ready, and before I could say no, he jumped, and of course pulled me right along with him. But it was worth it. An incredible experience.Same. Did a tandem once, the free fall was exhilarating. Before the jump I thought I would work toward solo jumps. Afterward, I decided once was enough.
Is it still referred to as FayetteNam?When I was stationed at Fort Bragg, I was in an Airborne unit, meaning they jumped out of planes (even though there’s no war-time scenario where we would do such a thing). It seemed cool, but I never did it, mostly because I knew if I did, I’d never get orders to leave Fort Bragg. If you’ve ever been to Fayetteville, NC, you’ll understand why that isn’t appealing. Now? I don’t think anything could get me to jump out.
