Friend of mine got 4 Bobcats last year. Ate or froze all of em. Said it was some of the best wild game he ever had. He will be hosting a wild game and forage dinner with local wildlife resources in a month or so and bobcat is on the menu

I saw a dang big coyote gliding across the main road at AB Tech (local community college) on my way home from the hospital around 3 am today. Frankly, I would have said that it was a wolf because of its size, but I don’t think we have wolves in the urban area here. Yet.

Last time I saw a coyote was late at night on the campus of the San Francisco VA. Pretty unsettling, but impressive! (If you’re not a kitty cat)
We lived out in Woodland Springs until 2013. One of the biggest coyotes I have seen to date was dead in the road outside our Sub. I have also seen them in the urban areas of Cincy. They will breed with dogs, called coydogs snd are found in urban areas vs the wild.

Lol, GTFO. Lol.

Coyotes have interbred with wolves. Genetic analysis has found this to be true in New England and the Carolinas. One is more likely to find coywolf than a viable population of wolves east of the Mississippi River.
