A storm knocked over one of my mature dogwoods awhile back. It was in the middle of a mixed bed of sun and shade flowering plants. These have been removed to more suitable areas. Taking out the stump is in prelude to installing sod.

My first trip to Korea was in April 95. I still remember getting off the plane at Kempo and two things got my immediate attention. First was the smell. Deer Lawd, the smell! Second was there were orange and white checkerboard flags all over the friggin' place. When we got to Suwon, orange and white checkerboard flags adorned a lot of the GOVs. Come to find out those flags are for flight line safety. Needless to say, one of those flags were permanently "borrowed".
