You're ******* right...
Damn straight. And I have no idea if this is actually true, but according to my world history teacher in high school, the "F" word originated in England as an abbreviation of a prostitution charge. For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

I curse every day of the week. I just try very hard not to use the Lord's name in vain.

God didn't decide which words were "curse" words. People did.
It’s my way of being pious. I never use the Lord’s name in vain, my early ‘Church Of God’ indoctrination kicks in. You are right in man chose what constitutes as curse words, but, I take no chances.

I try not to curse now like I did in my younger years. I still slip up sometimes though. I try to say yes sir and yes mam when in public. Each to their own.

if I don't have to bend down to pick up pieces, I'm OK for long stretches. If I got to bend over to pick up logs, then yeah, about 45 mins and done.
For me, that datgum chain saw it the worst thing on my back. I think I'd almost prefer a kick in the nads. Lol

When I have felled trees, I cut them into 18-24” logs at one go. Then, on other days, I split them.

Edit: I split with a sledge & wedges and an axe.
