I spent about 6 hrs monday rebuilding the electric fence around my horse lot. I go feed this morning and its torn all to hell-o. The deer keep running through it. I don't know what to do, I've tried tying stuff to it, motion lights on the barn, etc.

This deer season I am coming to visit you. If they are destroying your property you have all rights to kill them. Call the game warden, they might be able to help.

They are horrible here. I will def put in a call. We ran one through the hay mower this year, it cut all 4 of its legs off. Nasty

get a Great Pyrenees dog. They are ntaural protectors who sleep all day and then patrol your proterty at night. Only drawback is they bark at night chasing stuff away so you might hear him.

Talked to a TWRA officer and he told me to get the fence going as hot as I could, take aluminum foil and fold it over the wires between every post, slather it with peanut butter, plug it up, and just let the deer lick it a time or two and it would teach them where the fence is. I am apparently putting it up on a main moving trail. They should move it after licking it a few times...........we will see

I got stung for the first time by a scorpian on Sunday evening. It felt like someone hit me with a bat on the elbow. Still swode and sore a bit 3 days later. I was sitting on our bench by the fire pit and when I leaned back to prop up my arms on the backrest......Wham!
