Would love to. I'm pissed at myself for wasting my potential and am at a pisshole like Tiger High. With a more challenging curriculum in high school I could have had the ability to go anywhere I please. I had teachers begging my father to send me to a private HS but we didn't have the money. And I have taken the mentality that everything was going to be as easy as that crappy HS I went to and I have screwed around too long in college and I hate myself for it
I take it Wabash is a private university. If so, **** that. I got enough debt for me. In 2 years I hope to have my degree and will be plenty fine with an engineering degree from even the ****tiest college. You can't dumb down the math involved in this.
Wabash is the ****. and you will have a job right out of it pretty much guaranteed if you make it through with an engineering degree.
Anywhere with an engineering degree and in the top 50% will pretty much land me a job out of college . Mech Engineering at UoM only graduates about 20 every year. That's not a lot
my debt is outta this world. 40k a year. fml. i got quite a bit covered though.
Knew it was private. I don't care the benefits. I didn't come from a well to do family so private was never in my vocabulary. My mom has worked in a factory for the past 20 years and pretty much cut me off when I went to college bc she thought I was acting too good for her. I'm a first generation college student in my immediate family. Even though my dad was smart enough. I have had a lot of pressure on me. It has screwed with me for a few years. But I will graduate in 6. Not what I planned. I actually had med school plans coming out of HS. My buddy who is in UT med school right now once told me I was a genius. I just couldn't carry all the weight that people put on me.
it ain't about what other people think. it's about you. if private school is your best option, that's where you should be. and the benefits are definitely worth it.
i did that in private high school as well. college, however, would kick my ass if i tried to do that. This place makes you work. i had 37 pages of final papers this semester plus 2 finals. as a freshman. it was ridiculous
