Random Thoughts VIII

As long as I keep finding things to occupy my time, I do. I've found plenty out here that I hadn't thought about. The day I quit looking, I'll lay down under a tree and die. Oh, wait!! Saturday!!:)

I think I'd get bored. Maybe I'll have a wife to keep me company, if I make it that far. You don't see too many 65 year olds playing xbox so I can't really do that.

I rode a few miles on a broken bike yesterday. Those hills got tough, but never once stopped. My poor dad pushed more than he rode.

You may not know what hills are until you ride a bike out here. Lots of people do it here, I can't. Some of the "hills" are a 5 mile incline from 4000 feet to 5-6000 feet. I could do the ride back downhill.

Haha, nope the hills I tackled are pretty easy. I don't think I could even do a mile uphill right now.

I went through that gaming phase 15 or so years ago. Played often and long hours. I would say there are many playing today upwards of 60 years.

Last year around Escalante, we were driving up a long winding hill. Probably 4-5 miles bottom to top. Canyon floor to canyon rim type thing. We passed a guy, on roller blades, going up the hill. He was pushing a two wheeled cart. Uphill!! He had Earl Campbell legs!

That is pretty wild. There's no way I could do that.

I couldn't believe. I found a turnout about 100 feet ahead and pulled over to watch him skate by. Up. He was pushing something like this.
