You can do it electronically, as well. I have a Digi-Tech multi function box that runs between my guitar and amp. With it, I can make my guitar sound like any type of guitar or my amp sound like any type of amp. So, I can make my Strat sound like a Les Paul, for instance and my Fender amp can sound like an old blues tube amp. At the touch of a button, the guitar can sound like Gilmour's in Pink Floyd, Gibbons w/ ZZ Top or whatever. Also, can record and playback w/ my self, etc. Lot of neat things. Might be what you're looking for.

Well since we're talking about country music. I found another country music artist I like. Josh Turner. Love his voice.
