Since he has been sent home, I don't think that would apply. If his injury was serious enough to have someones care, I would agree to that.

grizz, i was so mad!!! it didn't smell bad (before or after i rinsed it) or anything and the breading tasted good but the chicken had a lil aftertaste to it so we threw it out and momma ran up to the store and got a rotisserie chicken. i made it two nights ago tho and it was superb

i can agree with your pov definitely, but i also know that ER's typically never get concussions diagnosed correctly. even for the most mild concussion for the general public my preference is to say nothing that would distort pain for the first 48 hours post injury. i've had kids that didn't even know their names or be looking their mother in the face and ask where she was and be cleared by ER docs for full participation the next day.

There is a lot of gray area's concerning concussions. There is no real way to positively diagnose one for certain. Yes there are symptoms, but thats it. No blood work, nothing. MRI cannot even detect one. If there were problems that occured afterwards, IMO I don't think OTC tylenol/advil would mask anything serious. JMO though. Main thing ER's want to rule out is a subdural hematoma or even worse a intraparenchymal bleed. A doc sends a patient home with one of those, they are looking at a huge law suit! That's all I have to say about that! lulz
