No idea. Only passed through a few times. I'm seriously thinking about a cross country road trip towards the end of summer. If I do, I'll stop by.

Deep snow cover. Playing golf yesterday, we were between two mountain ranges. One, about 15 miles away and the others, 10-25 miles away. Peaks around 10-12000 were totally snow packed. Fantastic scenery for golfing.

Should make it Sante Fe, I know they have some nice courses there. Some casinos too.

I haven't been through there in many years. Used to be a nice peaceful place. Probably changed by now. I'd think they'd have some good courses.

The mountains are beautiful from there, just about the right distance away to really appreciate both the size and scope.

In the 70's, a buddy of mine and I were making a road trip from Florida to California. We stopped two weeks in Albuquerque to visit some friends. We decided to detour through Colorado. On old Highway 85, a four lane then, the truck broke down. We hopped the fence and walked to a house where a guy was getting into his car. He asked if we needed help. We told about the breakdown. He said he was leaving for work but we could use any tools we needed in his garage. We got tools, fixed the truck, put the tools back, left him a 6 pack, closed the garage door and left. When would something like that ever happen in today's times?
