I have been wanting a cell phone forever, I had to settle for talking to people on facebook. This is my first cell phone so i'm pretty excited.

Me too. lol I think my parents were trying to see if I would go get a job before they finally bought me one.

Wow! Good for your parents. I didn't get one till I was 17 or maybe 18. Now kids have them at 7...ridiculous!!

One of my 11 year old day care kids had a blackberry curve....sickening

It was pretty sad when kids half my age were texting and i had to beg my mom for her phone.

You don't need one till you start driving though. I know I sound old. Sorry. I'm just old fashioned...I understand your want for one though!

I didn't get one till I was 24. I didn't really want one then either. Now I would be lost without it.

They've come so far...my dad had an awesome car phone...it was leather and had a curly cord. And now they are touch screen and take pictures. Its insanity.

I sort of miss the simplicity of having a beeper!!! Hahaha :)

I got both of my Nephews phones when they started 1st grade.
It was for the GPS. I may be too paranoid, but I don't mind.

Tell me about it...

:hi:Behr still got the itchies?

Yeah. God forbid I agree with or say anything positive about VolGal (we would need to get a room), but he has had an allergic reaction to either the fleas or the items I used to try to get rid of them.

He got a flea dip this morning at the vet, but is still scratching like crazy. He didn't actually see the vet today but will tomorrow.

Hate to sound weak, but my heart hurts for him right now.

Is he still crying? Poor baby. You CAN give him benadryl just google what his dosage would be. ...also cortisone cream can relieve some of his itchiness. My baby can't sleep when he gets like that!!

I don't know why a regular old flea shampoo wouldn't make him feel better for the time being.

Its probably not the fleas but the flea bite. The fleas can be gone but they're reacting to the pain of the irritation. Like mosquito bites. The mosquitoes are gone but they drive us crazy.

I understand your confusion, but when he was young he had an allergic reaction to something and was scartching all of the time. After 6 vet visits in about a four week period, changing his diet, his shampoo and antibiotics, it stopped. So I haven't changed back to any of those. I was useing a flea and tick shampoo but was afraid that might be part of the problem.

I use and have been useing an oatmeal shampoo the last several years that doesn't bother him but also doesn't kill fleas.

I "binged" how to get rid of fleas on a dog and tried several suggestions. I was already afraid of the flea shampoo and thought I would try something else.

Thank goodness these things weren't there when i went. Glass boxes that go out from the top of sears tower. I was afraid to even go up there, these people are crazy.
