This is the first slow day I have had in weeks. I will still head out about two-ish to go see a client this afternoon just to get me out of here.

Didn't get any storms here yesterday, but it looks like it will make up for it later today.

I care nothing at all about soccer, but it's always a good thing when the USA wins in anything!

I've never watched a whole soccer game in my life but I've watched all the USA games...I must say the sport is growing on me a bit.

Local news station are following "Breaking News", BP has been forced to remove the cap from oil spill. Will report as soon as they have more info.

I can't believe we do not have the technology or capability to stop this. They got the crap down there, why can't they get a repair sub or something down there?

WTF how are you forced to remove something stopping half the oil spewing out? I swear...

They (local news) say they are trying to get more info. Evidently some underwater robot bumped into the cap and it allowed gas to enter. Now they have removed the cap for inspection.

BP has solidified itself as full of incapable idiots running that company, in my mind.

I bet BP would have had the problem solved if the spill was just outside the principal channel ports of Plymouth, Southampton, Portsmouth, or Dover. It's not in their backyard so there is no sense of urgency to them in my opinion.

One has to consider the amount of money BP makes as well. The amount of billion to England is different than the US amount. In the US a billion is one thousand million or 10 to the 9th power. In England a billion is one million million or 10 to the 12th power. So if BP reports a profit of 40 billion per quarter that is 40 million million not 40,000 million. Staggering.
