I have been on every day lol, everything is still unsure re my son. His lab reports show all numbers elevated well above normal.

Sorry to hear about your encounter. I was stung by a red wasp when I was about 12 or 13 and I'm telling you, I run like a little girl now at the sight of one.

Had my annual review this week and got a raise...everything went okay...still have no desire to stay with the firm though, job hunt continues and interview on Wednesday is still on!

I mowed over a yellow jacket nest in the ground at my sisters house once. By the time I quit running (about a 1/4 mile) I had been stung 56 times on the legs and back. I was running and slapping my legs and ankles. When I stopped I looked down and there were YJ's stuck in my socks and shoe laces and were stinging my shoes still. 2hours later after the ice packs and Benadryl and dramamine. I set that Son of a butcher nest on fire with gas. Revenge is sweet.

If I got stung 54 times I would be dead. I'm allergic to them. As long as it's in the leg I'm usually alright as long as I stay loaded up on beadryl. I probably should have an eppi pen as much as I am outside. Dr gave me a shot in the rear and some steroids.

It's weird cause when you get hit with that many, you don't realize at first. The first instant my brain said VIF your legs are burning like hot water on them. Then I looked down and panic/adrenaline sets you to running and flailing. I am lucky because none got me on my face. That would have knocked me down and then it would have been all over for me. Running down the road and looking back, I swear it looked like a cartoon swarm of bees.
