:hi:I'm voting on my way home. The location is less about a mile from my house. They weren't open at 5:45 this mroning.

i still vote back where my parents live (about an hour-hour n half) away from where i live and i forgot to vote early/absentee so last night i got off work at 945, drove home, got up this morning and voted and drove back

Good job. Bet it made for a short nights rest. There is such a big push for early voting around here that it's faster to wait untill today. Besides, Nat wants to go with me so my wife is going to wait till this afternoon as well and meet me there when I head home.

voting was always a huge thing in our family. even after my dad and his brothers had their own families they would always sit down with my grandpa and my grandpa would tell them who we were voting for as a family and that's what the sons and daughter in laws did. it's funny, even now that my grandpa has had his strokes and alzh'ers my dad's brothers will call him (he's the oldest) and talk about it
