just ****ty day of work to be honest....thought i was going to be off, but an event had been scheduled and i wasn't notified. so i drive an hour to my parents last night to see them and get my car tags, planned on spending today with them since i prolly won't see them again for a few months. get a call this morning at 9 am about the event and my boss basically jumps my **** over it and tells me i have to get back in town right now because everyone else is covering other stuff (which i didn't care, i realized i was going to have to do that, but she was just a flaming biatch about it). had made plans with some friends tonight and i had to scratch them too. only benefit is the event is on two sites and my house is halfway between so i'm on call from home, but otherwise ftbs

kat, you mean to tell me that i've been here since 2 and you're still in a bad mood? that doesnt even make sense.

well i came to accept it for a few hours, but then when they called and said we were for sure going out, i made a phone call to see how much longer i'd be on call....too long, clearly, was the answer.

and ego, u know u made my day better
