I don't remember that much about it. Played a lot at Lambert Acres in Maryville. I like that course. Played the one in Lenoir City a few times. Elevated greens, I hate 'em. Played Willow Creek a dozen or so. We played Dead Horse a lot, too. It's a love/hate course.

I know when I was living S of Dallas, a friend of mine was from Chicago. He said they named the wrong place the windy city. Texas is Hell. So Cal is, too, when the Santa Ana winds are blowing.

I've played Dead Horse and Willow Creek a lot!!! Ever played at 3 rivers golf course? Its out by Strawberry Plains, right on the river?

Trust me when I say this, Dallas doesn't have chit on Lubbock. I have lived in both places. The windiest city is in Montana I've heard!!

The one I'm thinking about had a tee box about 200' above the green. Par 3. Had to hit an 8 to get there. The green had water on three sides, I think. Never played the one you're talking about then. Played a course s of Dallas where one green was surrounded by water. Had to cross a 30' bridge to putt.

That may have been it. Don't really remember. I used to play Friday mornings with a bunch of friends from Oak Ridge. We'd start with the beer at 6 am. Don't remember some of the places we went.

Meeting my brother in Clovis then driving in from there. Yeah we are going to go out and watch the game. There is a poster on here that lives in Alto, NM I have been trying to find a post from him, so I can ask him to come watch the game with us.

That's what I was thinking. Don't think we played there. Really too long ago for me. I just remember looking down at that green. Hit it in the shadow of the flag stick about a foot from the hole. Luck.

NM. I hadn't scrolled down enough to see the link. Holy Crap. I'd like to play that course, but don't know if I'd even keep score or not.

I watched the tour of the holes. Really good looking course. Lotta sand, water and tough greens. Looked like all the fairways were undulating, not too many flat spots.

Damn, that's why I felt like I'd seen it before. Crap, I'm too tired. I kept watching and thinking, I've seen this before. I'm outta here. Later.
