Close, but not quite. I think I read that one is 137 pounds. And, not even the biggest European catfish.

**Meant to add that yeah, big cats at the dam. I think the biggest was just under 120 pounds. I had a guy that worked for me in Kville caught a big one around Concord. He came into the plant on his day off and wanted to use a forklift. He said it was to weight something so I told him to go ahead. He came back in with a catfish on a 48" x 48" pallet and it was hanging off both sides. Can't remember the weight exactly but it was around 50 pounds or so.

Me, too. I heard stories years ago about the divers they use to go down to check for cracks. Some of them coming back up and not wanting to go back because of the cats.
112 pound blue cat is the TN record. No telling how big the ones are that haven't been caught.

Progress does that to things. Gotta tear down the old and bring up the new. Then, mourn the old. They paved Paradise and put up a parking lot. Dont it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got till it's gone.
