By the way Kat, I hope you feel better. That kind of a hangover can not be fun. Remember, the best cure for a hangover is to stay drunk!

Obviously it's not important. If you happen to have a dozen or three at AJ's and ask the bartender or server where they were harvested, I would be curious of their answer. IIRC, Fresh Oysters are one of the things they are known for and would only serve quality. Again, no big deal....just curious.

If you do remember and feel like asking, do so after you finish them instead of before ordering them.

Either way....Have a blast, try to stay out of trouble and watch out for those "city chiggers".

Will do behr.....most likely they come from appalachacola

Normally I would agree, but under the circumstances I would be surprised.

"Apalachicola Bay escaped damage from the spill, but the response to the disaster wound up disrupting the harvest anyway". (From the Herald Tribune in Sarasota)

That's why I'm curious. Will they tell you "Apalachicola" even if that's not true? Or is that truely where they are getting them? If not, where?

Anyway, like I said I'm just interested. I'll stop talking about it now.

We always go into destin and eat at aj's every year. I don't see any change to that this year. It will probably be mid week when we go.

Almost entering florida.....

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
