What the hell were you doing in malaysia?

I have never been there i was just joking.....tallest building I have been in was the Empire in NY City!!!

I just watched a show about the Petronis Towers....pretty cool place in the middle of a crap country!!!

To me, it's a little freaky standing on the rim looking down. I don't think I would make it out on the walk. Already be about 1/2 dozen people fell in this year.

According to the show, it was the only place they could find to build it!!! The rock wall had to be solid!!! Much of the rock along there is fractured!!!!
I can attest to some of it being fractured on parts of the north rim. It looks pretty spectacular in the film. I've never been to it.

How does one fall in? are they climbing on the railings? idiots
No. It's regular sightseers and hikers in other parts of the park. There's one trail called Angel's Landing where a few people usually fall to their death each year. Other trails, as well. A car broke loose in a parking lot and went over one edge either this year or last. It isn't very hard to fall if you aren't careful. I'm surprised more don't fall. Especially little kids. There are plenty of places where a kid could be gone in a second.

Was out of school for flooding yesterday and probably am today too. I never thought too much about it because they let us out if back roads are flooded, but my home town is pretty bad.

Here's a good example I just found on the internet. This is one section of Angel's Landing. That drop behind them is probably 1500 feet. Just slip off the rock and ..........Angel's Landing is in Zion Park. Got my parks mixed up. GC much further drop.
But, many places around the canyon look similar to the spot the couple is standing on. Some railings in some places; none in others.

That's messed up!!!! How about those people who ride azzez down the trail??? F that!!!!
I couldn't do that either. that's the Bright Angel Trail, I think. A woman fell off a mule last year. Didn't kill her. Can't remember the exact injuries. I used to have no fear of heights. None. Then, I woke up one day and I did. Weird.

I always get that strange feeling at tall heights, but I just push thru it!!! I don't know if I'm brave or just stupid!!!!!...lulz

Did I tell you guys/gals about the pic I entered in a photography contest in San Antonio? Winner gets $6,500. Its a pic of my son and niece eating an ice cream cone down in Gruene, TX!!!
