Better check on licensing in CA, they are wierd out there!!!

I have a Bachelor's in Organismal Biology already, but I'm getting a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Union. Good job, 1 year program, then I'll be out making money.

I'm thinking So. Cal.

Got a city in mind. I lived there for quite a while.

I'll probably try my luck in Anaheim or Santa Ana, maybe San Diego. Who knows. I can register with a Travel Nurse agency, pick where I want to go and they will pay my housing expenses so I'm not really limited

They will pay you a butt load of money, too. I know someone from Kville that did that same thing. I had never heard of it until she did it. Big money. She's in Nor Cal now. Lives in Ft. Bragg, just up the coast from San Fran.

San Diego would be sweet if you can get it. Much nicer than the other two. I lived around San Berdoo. Good location to get most places in So Cal. I was about an hour from SD.

Cali has different rules for any kind of medical professionals coming from out of state though! Even though you are licesned they will make you test again to work in the state of cali!!!

That's great news! I could deal with making a lot of money and having my housing paid for. Plus it's a job I think I would really like as long as I was in the ER or some dynamic workplace

Worth it for the $$$. I have a friend in fund raising at Cedars of Sinai in LA. Worked for me in TN and kept complaining about missing Cali. I finally talked him into moving back. First job he applied for and he got it.

She loves it. I haven't talked to her in several years, but she was still very happy. I can't remember what the contract terms are regarding length of service. She liked it because she could choose another hospital at the end of the term, if she wanted.
