Walked out on a pier in ft walton beach florida and looked down and seen all these huge ass red snappers and grouper (I think) and I wanted to catch one so bad lol

Yeah same here. There was actually a guy I know that caught a 7lb smallie at KY lake this spring.

Hunting thread gets rednecked out. Same as fishing. Surf fishing doesn't exist , nor does upland bird hunting. But smashing ducks and not retreiving them is allsome.

Yeah same here. There was actually a guy I know that caught a 7lb smallie at KY lake this spring.

That's a monster. My biggest is 5 out of a creek you could almost piss across. Busted a number 7 countdown rapala on top. I was using 4lb.test on a 5 and 1/2 ft rod. I consider getting that sucker in, my greatest fishing accomplishment.

I don't get to fish for them often. There are zero smallies in West Tenn.
