He finally quit asking when he realized I wasn't going to stop laughing everytime he asked... That and the stink eye

Pete Rose is an butthole and deserved everything he got. I have a story from a good friend about him during his playing days that bears this out.

My grandfather had box seats during the Big Red Machine days and I had the opposite experience with Pete. He always took the time for fans and kids, Johnny Bench, OTOH, was a prick.

I guess like us, they have their days too.
