Not too big on maters for some reason, I can eat them on burgers/sandwiches but I don't like them to really stand out so to speak

You really can't be too testy with such things, you need to assume they'd be public.

I can take or leave a store bought but I love a homegrown. I also like to chop and seed them, toss with garlic and salt then coat them with parm cheese and bake them. Yummo

I eat cherry and plum tomatoes all day. Sucks in the winter, they're too pricey for a snack.

Still waiting for local homegrown 'maters here. Planting was much delayed because of the weird winter/spring we had.

I eat cherry and plum tomatoes all day. Sucks in the winter, they're too pricey for a snack.

Still waiting for local homegrown 'maters here. Planting was much delayed because of the weird winter/spring we had.

I've heard of people growing them inside in 5 gallon buckets year round, but never tried it or personally known anyone who has. Its tempting when you breakdown and get a store bought, pay out the rear for it only to bite into it and it not have any flavor

Nah, I've been playing a coaching carousel dynasty with smokeyvol, I've only played a few online games, I'm not a fan of randoms.

I really should practice more online though.

Yes, but also surveyed most of the west for livability. Of course, none of his recommendations were listened to, which led to the dust bowl era on the southern plains.

I've heard of it being done, but don't know anyone either. Might be the year to try it. Haven't had a decent tomato since last October. Even the Romas coming through this area are completely tasteless.

I really got to reading about the dust bowl after someone on here posted an album of pics from the depression era, it was a period I had never really looked into.
