The photograph video i posted makes me sob.+1
I no longer have any of my grandfathers, one of which, was like a father to me. My one wish was that he could have lived long enough to at least see me graduate.
The photograph video i posted makes me sob.
My grandfathers taught me how to hunt, fish, trap, work golf, drink, chew, every damn thing that i really have a say in, i guess.
My grandpa Malcolm lost his arm in Normandy, and he was still an elite fly fisherman. High water in spring? he'd get 10. 100 degrees in August when the river is a trickle? He'd get 10.Yeah same here, besides the hunting. My grandfather was one of the best crappie fisherman I've ever seen. He would take me out anytime I wanted to go to the lake. He never hunted with me because he quit hunting after Vietnam, but his face always lit up when I came by with my deer.

He'd also shoot more grouse, have the best pointer, on and on. Just an American classic.
Damn! Shooting grouse with one arm, now thats impressive. I'm a terrible shot at any bird and I have good eyes and both arms.

LC Smith Silver Snipe series, hand tooled bird guns. He used the 16ga. His brittany's would make you jack off, they were ELITE.
To give an example of his ability with animals, he'd catch skunks in fox sets, and let them go, without getting sprayed.
I would've liked to have met him. My dad flew an artillary spotter piper cub in the big one. I bet those two could share some stories. My grandpa Malcolm lost his arm in Normandy, and he was still an elite fly fisherman.
