I liked it. I did like 10 better, I prefer the more traditional style RPG I'm not too big on all these real-time battle systems, ie 10-2. But I thought 12 was a fair mix of action-based and more traditional. I loved the landscapes too.

13 had its moments. a lot of the characters were good. the storyline was super hard to follow, and there were too many made up words that never got good explanations. you just kinda had to figure it out on your own. not to mention how linear it was until the very end of the game. that pissed me off. the leveling system was pretty cool though, as was the battle system.

I've not gotten to play 13 yet, I'd love to try it though.


I actually thought 12 had a great story, my opinion though so TIFWIW
