The running game sucks, no deep threat, an old defense getting older, Troy still being overrated and getting burned in pass coverage on a regular basis, Ben becoming more and more broken down. And the rest of the division improving while they regress. Jmo

Regress is the wrong word. They are starting to replace some of the players on defense, but the linebacking corps still has Timmons, Jones and Woodley.

Btw, you are also talking about the team that had the #1 passing D last year - Taylor, Polamalu, and Clark are still coming back.

Sanders is fast and a deep threat like Wallace with less fanfare.

Running game will have to improve, but the o-line should be better this year.

A lot of that passing d stems from the rush. San Fran's passing d fell apart after Justin Smith got hurt, not surprisingly.

Troy couldn't cover me, he was a great run stopper and created tos those days are gone. Taylor is horribly underrated IMO Clark is solid.

The running game is just bad. And Sanders is no Wallace, who's their move the chains guy?

And yes Flacco is overrated

They had very few sacks last year - so the passing D was straight up.

Polamalu is a touch overrated as a pass defender, but Clark is able to make up for it. Taylor, Allen and the return of Gay should make that one of the better CB groups in the AFC.

I agree on the running game, but as I've said, I am anxious to see what happens with that O-Line finally being healthy. The organization has spent a lot of early round talent on it the last four years.
