Been in the ER with the wife for 4 hours. We're on the way to Vanderbilt. Common bile duct completely blocked. SMFH because the on-call GI Dr. doesn't do an ERCP. Medical red-tape wins again.

Thanks fellas. My amount of disappoint in the hospital I used to work for has been multiplied X 1000. It's the largest hospital between Memphis and Nashville but we have to drive 2 fawking hours because they can't change the on-call GI Doc. Thankfully, she's had enough Dilaudid and Phenergan to kill a small horse. Long weekend ahead of us. She's a very sick girl.
