Wilt use to dunk free throws until they put in a new rule that you had to stay behind the line when shooting. He'd start at the top of the circle, leave the ground at the free throw line and dunk 'em.

He also has about a billion blocks from above the rim. Dude was a freak though, I had never researched all that about him.

Did not know this. Dad never mentioned that to me and from the games of his I've watched, never saw it. Crazy

It was when he first started. Another weird thing I remembered is reading an interview back then where he said that he lost about 50 pounds a game in sweat. Don't know how accurate that was but he said it.

Yeah, I don't think that was true.

I remember them saying he would party all night, sleep an hour or 2 and go out and drop 50-20. One of the coolest stats he has, to me anyway, is a triple-double double. Also remember him saying the press hounded him about being a ballhog so much. That one year he lead the league in total assists, or maybe was second, just to show he could if he wanted to.

Fun question, best father son combo in any sport. The Griffeys and Bonds pop in my mind immediately.

Mine are going to be racing.

Graham Hill and Damon Hill. Both were F1 world champs.

Gilles Villeneuve and Jacques Villeneuve. Gilles was a legend but never won the championship in F1. His son Jacq was a sensation when he broke into the big time. Won the Indy 500, nearly won the F1 world championship his first year, and then won it his second. Unfortunately the team he raced with fell off form his third season, and then after that he took a mountain of cash to develop an upstart team.

I don't know much about racing, but the Uncers weren't the good?
