Random Things that Irk You...

People doing squats with a bar and 45's when its really not necessary.

How about a bar & 4 45 's on each side? Squat whatever as long as you do it correctly. It's funny to see the guy that dont squat but will leg press & put all kinds of weight on it , slide it back as far as he can, & barely unlock his knees & thinks he's doing something.

Serious question - how much do you squat pl3 on a standard set?

With extreme weights it would probably be best to use wraps. 315 or less I think your knees will be fine unless they're already bad.

I haven't squatted in years. Knees wont allow. I bike and swim for the legs.

Gotcha. I run and bike alot but squat 100-150lbs once a week. it helps correct imbalances that repetitive motion sports create, imo.

We now have my 8 yr old, very imaginative, son answer the calls and pretend to be head of household. He told a lady the other night to hold on while he got some goldfish crackers and asked her if she watched fineas and ferb. When the timing is right, my wife and I have fake redneck arguments while putting the phone on speaker.

Hahaha. My best was right before james earl ray died and I told some telemarketer that my parents weren't there because they had gone to see uncle james earl at the state pen.

That brought silence.

Do you realize most squat racks are set up for more than just squatting so no it's not bad etiquette. Our rack is used for pull ups, abs/knee raises, lunges, shrugs, squats, push press, upright rows, & curling.

Sounds like a power rack. I'm talking about an actual squat rack.

There are literally dozens of places to curl in my gym, one place to squat.

Willie p richardson is classic. I love the guy calling for police donations and the carpet cleaning service

The alarm companies are the best. When I'm in a good mood I carry on about ridiculous possibilities, forcing them to use the entire flow chart.

They get to me too. I like to accuse them of "casing" my house and make them let me copy their driver license before I let them talk.

Guys that stand up and pee in the toilet when there are open urinals. No one wants your piss all over the seat

How about when you place an order online and you start to follow the tracking. As the package starts moving closer in your direction the anticipation grows, and then the package stops moving and sits for days without being delivered.

My most recent example is when I placed an order through amazon and specifically bought from a seller in NC thinking it would get here faster. Well my package left Charlotte and arrived in ATL within about an 1 hour and 1/2 of shipping and has now sat in ATL for the last 3 business days. Hell, if it makes it easier on the shipping company I can go and pick it up rather than them shipping the packing the last 100 miles. Hell, I might as well have cut out the middle man and drove to Charlotte and picked it up. I just have no patience when it comes to me spending money on something, then getting taken in shipping charges, and then it takes forever to get to me. If I buy something, I want it now. I once had to pay $27.00 to ship a pair of sunglasses from Denver to Chattanooga. That was expedited and it still took a week and a half. Crooked bastages.

I'm with you on this. If I am going to order something online that I could get in a store within an hour radius, it has to be at least $40.00 cheaper than marked at the store, or else I will just get my happy ass in the car and take a drive. At that point, I care more about getting the friggin' goods than saving money on it.
