Random Things that Irk You...

Dudes that dont lock the bathroom door at a gas station so you walk in on them and their junk is hanging out.

I've taken to always knocking. However some folks choose not to respond and you get the peep show anyway.

Not once, but twice today I have gone into the kitchen at work to get coffee to be greeted by two empty coffee urns.

I'm going to end up going Terry Tate on somebody one day.

My interns have dropped the ball with the coffee as well this morning. "You cant bring that weak ass **** up in here"

Please tell me you said that to the intern. Followed up by throwing the coffee pot against wall and calling the intern something profane.

Weak coffee pisses me off.

Canned coffee does also, whole bean or store ground, please.

I have to have mine dirty, dirty. Got used to it while being underway for so long and having to drink coffee that would clean the brightworks on the ship.

They are government interns, cant really get away with that, but the thought did cross my mind.

You can always tell them something along the lines of "if you can't do something as simple as make coffee I don't know that I can trust you with anything else around here." Then let them overhear you talking to a co-worker about getting a new one next year...

The army was very hit or miss, generally miss, coffee wise. In garrison I'd make my own on a timer, so it'd be ready after PT and during lunch.

I recall the day my NCOIC's wife brought in the box of Kona coffee bags. She got a deal on them because they were all mislabeled--i.e. it might say french vanilla but there would be kona dark roasted beans in the bag. We'd load up a 30 cup coffee maker every day and only a couple of us drank coffee. On Friday we'd often brew a new batch after lunch so we would have some hot when we came in Saturday morning(we always worked Saturdays). We'd unplug it on Saturday and rebrew it one more time Monday morning. . .

Rox Mexico's profile picture irks me big time. That is one ugly MoFo.

I think it's ironic that Subway would make your sandwich upside down when you hate sandwiches being upside down.
