I'm a whiskey man myself. I have a college budget also, but instead of a 12 pack or so a week I'll buy something nice once a month. My most recent venture is with Jack Daniel's Honey, and I must say it is one of the finer Whiskey's i've ever had. 70 proof and you can't even notice a burn at all.

Really? Ya I'm pretty fond of my Zimas but I might switch to that if you can't feel a burn. Gtfo man JD honey is not one of the finer whiskeys.

Wait...people actually drink without the attentions of getting wasted? Man do I never want to leave college and the #1 party school.

I agree with your first sentence, guess again on sentence two. I actually like to enjoy the taste of my beer, more of a craft brew man myself. I like Ales and IPA's mostly. You?

Had any Sweetwater (Atlanta) beers? The 420 pale ale and IPA are both solid

Sierra Pale Ale is the norm

Enjoy it as much as you can and as often as you can....when it's over you will always long for that kind if freedom again

Sweetwater makes a good beer. Just told a guy in Idaho about them the other day.

I'm a fan of Abita as well. Go on their tour if you're ever in New Orleans. It's across the causeway, and basically two hours of free beers with a five minute tour.

21st Amendment from Oregon is a good brewery as well...their Brew Free or Die IPA is pretty solid.

Germany is easily the best. Went last summer.

Oh yeah, I lived in ATL for a year a few years back. SW 420 on tap is awesome. I love their beer, they do a great job. One of the best breweries in the south. Man, now my mouth is watering...

I better get to bed before I decide to crack one open. Night fellas :hi:

Their IPA is so hoppy it's like drinking a fern...I love it

And just a few years out of college you'll start to get hangovers. Even just a few beers might give you a headache. Getting old isn't fun.

+1

Take Thunder's advice, RoSmitty and the rest of you college kids, ENJOY every damn minute of college because once you're out and have a job, wife and kids...it's alllllll over. It's still fun in different ways but your freedom is gone.

Have been thinking the same thing. What is the point? Luckily for me I'm on the 5 year plan and got plenty to go.

Run that straight into a graduate degree. From my buddies currently in masters programs, it is the easiest way to continue stretching college past it's normal parameters.

Unless it's med-school or law school, in which case you have to really work.
