Yeah, that's the funny thing. Both are good movies, and close in quality. It seems a strange point to bring back from a month ago, especially in a politics forum.

1) Where did I say anything about Ron Paul?
2) My opinion is based on over 26 years in the business. Ever do a security assessment of a major US airport? What about an overseas airport? I've done both, multiple times before and after 9/11. TSA gives the public an illusion of security, but there is a lot that should have happened behind the scenes that didn't because we went with the visible measures for the political effect instead of the invisible measures that would have actually increased security effectively.
3) Your FBI agent is a case in point. A federal law enforcement officer is supposed to be ready to enforce the law and protect citizens at all times. Prior to the expansion of TSA, an FBI agent was able to show his credentials, by-pass security and carry his side arm on board. Now he has to lock his side arm in his checked baggage, which means this highly trained professional (who may even be on a counter-terrorism task force) is as helpless as everyone else on board.

If a terrorist really wants to cause mayhem, confusion and, I don't know, terror or something, I would think he could most accomplish it by going to an airport where the security checkpoints are way too small for the amount of traffic, like Orlando. Wear in a semtex vest, wait until he was almost at the molestation...er, I mean security point, and then detonate. Could take out dozens if not a couple hundred people, disable the machines, close the airport, and totally invalidate the TSA theatrics.

No?

I hope Rand Paul can bring more attention to the crap. I want it gone. I want it over. I want freedom. I hate being treated like a criminal just because I have the nerve to travel. I despise the TSA to such an extreme that my pulse is racing and my blood pressure is going up just thinking about it.

Because they're starting to expand to the point where the only means of travel to avoid being violated is to drive a car.

When I can drive my car across the country in a reasonable amount of time, let me know.

you're still making a choice right? It's not like airport security is a surprise when you get there

I think the TSA is useless but they are avoidable
