Ran into Bryce Brown after the game

Bryce Brown was gonna be a beast. He made some good runs and might of had the best hands on the team.

Everythings against me and it's got me down
If I jumped in the river I would probably drown
No matter how I struggle and strive
I'll never get out of this world alive. -H.W.

The fact that you even have people on your ignore list shows alot about who you are. You can dish it out as you just did on that one poster, basically saying his post was stupid, but when someone comes back at you ... well, you run and hide with you're hands over your ears like a 5 year-old yelling "I can't hear you. La-la-la-la."

Pathetic.

Someone woke up in the wrong side of the street this morning.

I hate to see Bryce not with the team but if the kid really has a personal problem and can get it worked out and wants to rejoin the team I would hope Dooley would welcome him back!

First, he exited from the same area as the players. Second, he was dressed in a Tennessee football shirt and Orange Tennessee pants. Third, out of curiosity, I asked him for an autograph and his reply was "Sorry, but I wont be signing anything today". Although I have no clue why he was even at the game, I still wished him luck in whatever his future holds.

Most of us are hoping he changes his mind and rejoins the team. IMO he would have been a special player. I think his hip bothered him last year and hurt his speed, he ran a 4.32 40 in high school. That combination of speed and size is hard to replace.

I graduated from UTC and immediately got a job in Structural Engineering making $10,000 above the national average for 1st year engineers. I have buddies that went to Georgia Tech and New York University that graduated at the same time as me and are all hanging out on their mom's couch eating cereal and watching Sponge Bob Square Pants. I'm not ashamed.

Cool story brah.

Bryce Brown said he was going to make a decision after he evaluated the coaching staff. Hopefully, he makes a decision soon after his evaluation so he can start summer workouts.

Let's face it, Trent Richardson as bad as "I hate to say it" is a 10 times better back than winning cry baby Bryce Brown. His brother quit down here in Miami and now his brother has quit!!! They are both over-rated quitters in my book!!! His brother couldn't even make 3rd stream down here in Miami for the Canes! How sad!

This is just stupid. This has nothing to do with his brother. Richardson also ran behind an elite oline.

No, not retarded! Just stating the facts, he is a frekin winning, pre-madonna bust!!! Go back to Kansas over-rated loser, we will recruit and sign better backs than this Kiffin a@#er!@!!!! What did he do last year as Freshman? NOTHING!!!!!!

You must have been a Valid-Victorian.

I don't see how he can just...skip...spring ball, and everyone be ok with it. And by everyone, I clearly don't mean VolNation.

i think if bryce comes back it will be hello 2nd string for him. that said i hope he stays but i also hope he learns the words team and commitment first.

Iv heard from a very reliable source that bryce has a very serious personal situation going on and he talked with coach dooley about it and coach gave him a time frame to get it settled. Not saying what the situation was but I do not blame him for taking the time to "see" where he is in life at this time. He is a very spiritual young man and has a very good head on his shoulders and sometimes guys there is more to life than football. Don't bash him because he still is a VOL he actually needs our true southern east tn support that where so known for right now.

Do you know what the timeline was so we can know when to expect hearing something? :)

I would love to see him back on the field but I do think its wrong that he gets to sit out the spring and then just jump back on board. I have heard some say that he would be 2nd string if he did come back but I just cant see DD putting him 2nd string if he really is the better back. I wish he would just make up his mind already.

Poole's flaying driven style of running troubles me. When a player pushes so hard to play beyond himself its an injury waiting to happen. I do like the way he hits holes and his speed which can carry him a long way. It may be reasonable to look at Brown as 2nd team if he comes back at this point but it seems like there would continue to be great opportunities for touches filling this role. I just don't think Poole has proven his durability yet and I do think that Brown might yet be a special back with his size and speed. The team is big enough to have both Poole and Brown succeed. Didn't we have a couple of thousand yard rushers in the backfield just a few years ago?

All of you bashers are unbelievable. I would love for him to stay, but if he doesn't, best of luck. CDD knows much more about his situation than any of you screamers. He gave him some time to study his status and didn't kick him off the team right away. As I understand it, he is still a UT student and wants to finish this semester's course work so he will get his credits. That is why he is still here. He went to the game because I am sure he wanted to be there. I doubt if he plays for UT again, but I hope he will do well unless he goes to one of our opponents. If he wants to come back, WELCOME.

Hear:

1.to perceive by the ear: Didn't you hear the doorbell?
2.to learn by the ear or by being told; be informed of: to hear news.
3.to listen to; give or pay attention to: They refused to hear our side of the argument.

Here:

1.in this place; in this spot or locality (opposed to there): Put the pen here.
2.to or toward this place; hither: Come here.

I think here is correct...
Did you go to USC?

USC is a better school than Tennessee is...
