I've been reflecting on this week's loss to Ole Miss, especially regarding Ramar's record number of turnovers in the game. Since most of his turnovers happened in the second half, I'm wondering how much fatigue played a role.

That being said, does anyone know:

1.) How many total minutes he played in the Ole Miss game, versus how many minutes he had been averaging prior?

2.) If there was a significant difference in minutes played versus his average, do you think Pearl and staff will try some different rotations for tomorrow's game to reduce his minutes?

He played 36 minutes against Ole Miss up from 26 per. Bruce mentioned after the game that it was way too many.

Pearl said that guys like Ramar, JaJuan, and Dane will get less minutes in the first half so they'll be fresh in the 2nd half. Could fix the 2nd half lapses.

Also, Crews will sit out for the first 3 minutes.

"I'm going to take a little pressure off Duke,'' Pearl said. "He's so hard on himself, more than anybody, and foul trouble is in his head a little bit.

"He doesn't play the first three minutes, and he doesn't have any fouls, it's good for him. He's picked up early fouls in the past few games and it's really disrupted him."

Thanks for these new bits of information. I'm starting to feel slightly more positive about today's game :) If Bradshaw, Howell, and Tabb jack the three ball like they did versus Ole Miss, Ramar doesn't play as many minutes, and the big men avoid foul trouble, I think we have a decent chance. Yes, that is a lot of "ifs."

All hail the Orange Blazer!
