This has to stop until it’s earned. Chaney has to be replaced next year. Look at the lack of creativity in his offense. It’s the same weak plays every week. Chaney is running a 2010 offense in 2020 and has a senior quarterback. The game has passed him.

I say Pruitt has one more year to beat two out of the three top SEC teams. You can blame Covid all you want but that didn’t bother Kentucky.

I’d eat my shoe if both Pruitt and Chaney want the current state of affairs at the QB position. I look for Chaney to be out after this year or next.

Basilio had a scoop last night that CJC had prepared a slimmed down playbook for Bailey and Mauer. The players even expected us to play multiple QBs.

Something doesn’t smell right.

I'm not sure Chaney is the problem. He set records here when he had Bray

He is hamstrung by a terrible QB and the HC insists on still playing him

Thought Chaney was brought in because he was an OC that Pruitt didn't have to worry about? Someone he could trust and turn the offense over to? Rhetorical.

I envy Arkansas and their staff. Bet it won't take 5 years to see some progress/results with coordinators like that. Their problem will be in keeping them from leaving. Thankfully, we don't have those types of worries.

He’s the definition of an OC you have to worry about. He’s always done stupid stuff like pass 49 times in a row when we are averaging 6 ypc. He needs someone to manage him. Kiffin was probably the perfect head coach for him.

No One is ever critical of Ansley. He seems to be getting a pass for some reason but this defense is bad. They have regressed since last year.

I agree, I didn't realise how much Bituli, Warrior and Taylor papered over the facts last year.

I honestly don’t know how Pruitt got an extension, particularly with COVID.

It’s placing a heavy bet on someone who hadn’t really accomplished anything yet
And and we are on the wrong side of that bet in year 3.

Jim Chaney is handcuffed by our HC and JG. We need out of the box thinkers to win with what we have, and clearly... we have straight line thinkers.

I'm not sure Chaney has the dynamic creative position coaches working under him, not sure how accomplished they are in their craft, Weiner, T, and Graham are here for their recruiting process and connections not their ability to instruct, develop and improve the players under their tutelage, that weakness is glaring on our offensive game plans and lack of playmakers going down the field

Slimmed down from our already slimmed down playbook for JG ? Geez, details about this program get more depressing by the day.

I think he wanted to take the excuse away that those guys hadn’t practice enough to run the offense. But Pruitt somehow wants to get JG more work.
