I don't know. I give the coaches credit for not packing this season in. But we are right back at 9-4 again 0-3 in championship games this decade. I just don't see where a raise and extension is warranted.

that's because it's not. hamilton is an idiot for doing this. i'm glad he's seing the rammifications. i would have loved a win today, but that was just stupid.

See me after the bowl game. This team is much improved.

Lay another egg in a bowl -- no way.

we might very well be 9 - 5... depends on what bowl we play and against whom...

Trust me if we play Boston college in the peach bowl. We most likely will lay a egg. This team will not be motivated for that game at all. This took the wind out of our sails i'd say. I'd love to be wrong about this but our track record says most likely not.

NO

that money could be better spent on recruiting a Randy Moss type reciever

Mike Hamilton said he would wait till after the season to do anything. Lets see if he lives up to his word, and wait till after the bowl game. If we lose the bowl game, and Fulmer gets an extension, then we know our expectations.

No, No, No!!!
Just wonder how much that game cost us financially? We could/should have been in the BCS bowl vs the silly little afterthought bowl? What is the difference in $$$$$$, Mike?

The magic number is 8,that's how many years the Vols haven't been to a BCS bowl

We are officially the Arkansas of SEC championships.
EXACTLY and that is the level the vols have sunk to. no more looking down out noses at ark or anybody for that matter. remember watching ark against fla in 95 and knowing how much better the gators were. that is where the vols are. lsu was the much better team, just stubbed their toes all game until it mattered.

I don't think you can credit much of our success to Fulmer this year. In fact, our half-time adjustments and motivation in particular have been dismal. As per usual, we get (or don't get) our psychological prep and support from the kids on the field not the sidelines- though Trooper is a can't-do-it by himself exception.

A raise- or an extension- just isn't justified.

raises & extensions....interesting thing to be worrying over right after the loss

maybe this loss will help make at least some changes on the staff. i am not gonna panic after this very disappointing loss, but maybe they will see that 'all is not well' after all. we need some fresh ideas. i think the d did play well, but we didn't really stop them when we had to and our corners still played way to soft. perriloux was never really a threat to throw the intermediate stuff. all he had was a couple deep balls and slip screen type stuff that yielded yac's by their talented backs. i can't believe our senior qb played that poorly on the last two drives of the game, after being set up on the 15.

Four losses -- no raise.

In a normal year we would have been third in the east.

If it had been done after the season it would not be a worry... after the bowl game. then it is either justified or not
