Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Directly from weather.gov Of course this brings out the Chicken Little fans, but I think that the Vols will be ok. DONT FRET

Saturday: Scattered thunderstorms. Wind Gusts up to 40MPH. Highs in the low 90s and lows in the upper 60s.

Remember Bray in those Gusty winds of the Spring game and going 5 for 30?

Dumbest post of the week.Congratulations.

Rain is a speed equalizer, so rain will only play to UT's advantage.

UF fans should be praying that it doesn't rain on Saturday, or they lose what advantage they still had in this game.

Bahhh. Who cares about the weather? Both teams have to play in it and if there is an effect, it will apply to both teams. We have fast guys too.

Every player on the field has played in bad weather before.

Saying 50% chance of rain now but that will change 50 times before kickoff. Wasn't it raining most of the Montana game? Didn't slow our passing game down then did it? Nope.
Fumbled the ball plenty though didn't we? YEP.

Hard rain would hamper demps and rainey getting to the edge and ill take Bray over Brantley all day every day in any weather.
As a ut fan, my main concern would be the possibility of Tiny being forced into the line up if Dallas cant play.

Not sure where these people come up with 40mph winds, intellicast and twc are saying 6-10 mph winds.

In rainy weather, sometimes it comes down to the team with the best cleats. :crossfingers:

Gainesville Weekend Weather Forecast - weather.com

Saturdays weather is calling for 90 degrees, 50% chance of t-storms, 9mph winds and 67% humidity.

I'm pretty sure that the entire state of Florida has a 50% chance of t-storms every single day.

You are correct. This is how it is here in FL...one minute it's sunny out, t- storm rolls thru, and 20 minutes later it's all sunshine and clouds. The trolls are freaking. Let 'em. If all they have to hang on to is the weather forcast, that's just sad, really.

Skeeter! Your back. It's always good to have a Skeeter sighting!

I think UF fans are hoping for 40 mph gusts on Saturday. IMO Poole will be the bigger story at the end of the game, wind gusts or not. 100 plus on the ground.

First of all, breezy and 40mph winds are totally different circumstances. I in no way see 40 mph winds, maybe gusts to around 20 while a passing storm is moving through. I don't believe it will rain the entire game, my only fear is the strength of Florida's lines compared to ours. I do think we have backs that would perform better in these conditions if we could create holes. It just concerns me because of our ball security up to this point and my memories of multiple fumbles against Florida in similar conditions. I mainly want the team to be aware and prepared for this possibility.

Won't happen. Bullard to LT and Jackson to LG if Dallas can't go the whole game.
