For all the people going to the game today......it's raining cats and dogs here in Lebanon. From about 4 AM till 6:30 AM. Flash flood warnings are out for the area as well. Just everyone, drive safely, leave early if you need to, and bring some good rain gear. Oh......and enjoy the game.....Go Vols.

Hopefully the rain will be gone by game time. 12 hours should give it enough time to plow thru.........the rain should give our ground game some advantage by keeping it out of JC's hands..........GO VOLS!!!!!!!!

Weather.com predicts rain/thunder throughout the day changing to scattered thunderstorms around gametime. Rain chance lowers way down to 10-20% about the time the game will end....looks like it could be poor timing weather-wise. But, nonetheless, suck it up, it's poncho time and go Vols!!

Hopefully, it rains just enough to fill my cup with water to mix with Jack Daniels.

I've already posted this on another thread but, if you are interested in the weather, gameday or not, this is the best site I've found. I've been using it for over two years.

Great Weather site. wunderground.com. Under "features" at the top, click "NEXRAD Radar". On the image of the US, Click the white + in Knoxville. You can animate that radar and zoom in and out, that's preety cool but, scroll down a little and under that radar is a square on the right that will have a link that says "weather stations in Talbott", click that. It takes 15- 20 seconds to load. You can use the "direction & zoom" scales or, put the "hand" cursor on the screen, press down the left click button and drag, double click and zoom in. Enjoy.

You can also go to weather.com radar map and see current radar or click on future and it will do a time laps for the next 12 hrs.

That radar does not compare. Wunderground uses "Google Earth", Zoom in to see Neyland Stadium.

Is it more effective then stepping out on the porch and licking the pointer finger and checking the wind?

More effective yes, but depending on where your finger has been, maybe not as much fun.

Hey, it's a very informative site, the interactive radar I was explaining is accurate and fun. I use it everyday and most of the time I can forecast the rain at a given area within 5 minutes. Zoom out and get the "big picture".

Just thought I would share. I get a lot of good info from all of you. Don't check it out, I don't care, go lick your finger. lol
