Has anyone else noticed the improvement in the production quality of the Vol Network football games this season? Mike Keith is obviously great but the overall quality of the broadcast has greatly improved, it sounds much more professional, the old "bumper music" has diminished, all of announcers sound better. THANKS VOL NETWORK

Every facet of the broadcast is more professional, informative & enjoyable.

I used to stream my Volcast over my Alexa Echo dots while streaming the game on Roku. But the audio would be at least one play behind. Now I listen to the radio while streaming. Keeps things almost in real time. Much better.
was just trying to figure out something useable. I'm watching on Sling TV but the radio is too far ahead of the video stream :/ trying to find a way to stream the radio broadcast that I can pause/rewind to sync it to the tv stream

figured it out! went to the wivk.com website, opened up the network inspector in my browser, and clicked play. found the link to the stream, copied it, and then opened VLC and pasted in the link. able to pause in VLC until its even with the video stream.

link for the stream that worked for me: https://14833.live.streamtheworld.com/WIVKFMAAC.aac

I don't think MK is all that great frankly. He sounds like any other announcer IMHO. He's fine, but hardly great.
I’ve been trying to figure out the love fest, too. He’s a radio guy, nothing special. I suspect most of the MK lovers were Bob haters. I never understood that, either.

Lots of radio AND football experts in these threads. 😊

It's funny how so many defended bumbling Bob. Many don't realize just how bad he really was until we got an actual announcer.

Had nothing to do with following John Ward. Bob just was the epitome of sucktitude

Listened to the entire game on the road last week. It was fine and got the job done.
- Mike has an odd voice. Nasely and pitchy.
- I’m not a fan of the gravely pirate arggggg he works into words at times.
- I’ve heard negative feedback on Bob not “painting a picture” of the position on field, clock, play action. I listened to Mike critically with this in mind. I’ll take Bob thank you.

I saw an informal Q/A of Mike answering random questions. Good stuff. He’s quick and personable.

Winning > Radio. Just win and I can tolerate an average play-by-play.

I feel the same. Seems gimmicky. I don’t need cute, just call the game.
