Radio/Phone Reception in Neyland Stadium

I have ATT and I could only get a few non picture texts in or out. Couldn't get on the internet... couldn't send picture messages.... nothing.

My best friend beside me has Verizon and found it comical they kept advertising it in the stadium with the signs reading "most reliable service" and she didn't even have a single bar and couldn't get ANYTHING.

I think we better prepare for a long season of this!!

And ontopic, this game was by far the worst reception I have had for a home game in the last few years. Not a huge deal though.

i wish people would be more respectful and keep it down

I really hope your being sarcastic

BTW I think there is just not enough cell support in that area, everyone has iphones and blackberries. At&t is putting more antennas on towers than any other provider, it just doesn't matter when you have a bandwidth overload like that.

Reception has always been kind of bad in there, but this past game was a whole new level of bad. There were times where my phone was zero bars and no data for minutes at a time.

It's not just neyland, I have sporatic cell reception at Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia Dome (but it's inside). If you have good luck with sprint it may be because less people are using that carrier/tower.

I'm sure the problem is capacity. But carriers should be better prepared and get mobile cellsites on location to deal with the crowd.

I had 5 bars with 3G & I could only get a text or on the Internet occasionally. Btw I have AT&T & an iPhone. Has any of the AT&T haters actually ever had AT&T service?
