Racing games

I've got an Xbox and I'm trying to pick a racing game. I want something more along the sim lines rather than an arcade game.

Forza 4 looks awesome, as do the F1 games. Suggestions? I'd probably acquire a racing wheel, as well.

Gotta get Forza 4. I bought it day 1 and I still play it regularly.

The F1 games are good if you are a really big F1 fan. Unless the price is half off I would not bother. I am a huge F1 fan and I only played maybe a season and a half of the career mode.

If you do get an F1 game get 2011. It is cheaper than 2012 and from everything I have heard 2012 is not an improvement. I bought 2010 and 2011, didn't bother with 2012.

This. Though I'm not thrilled with the direction they took, not having to do particularly much for upgrades and the like, but as they say, "Easy games sell, hard games don't".

Sell your Xbox, buy an HD6770 for your computer, then buy a DFGT and pirate rFactor, and buy Assetto Corsa when it comes out. Then thank me after you clean yourself off.

I don't have a computer capable of running anything even with upgrades, nor do I have the money to spend on a new computer, nor do I want to spend the money on a new computer when I'm 100% comfortable playing an XBox.
